(Short-eats and tea)
8.00 - 11.00pm: Pirith

blessings and tying pirith nool.
12.00 midnight: Termination of Program
for the day

9.00am: Procession
Carrying Kathina Cheevara, starts from Lido Motel.
9.45am: Arrival
of the Kathina Cheevara at the vihara
10.00am: Offering of the
Kathina Cheevara at the Shrine
10.15-11.00am: Kathinanisansa
Deshana
11.00am: Buddha Puja
11.20am:
Offering of alms to monks
12.00am:
Offering of Pirikara and rejoicing merits.
12.30pm:
Lunch for the participants and termination of the festival.
Note
Donations (puja
vastu) in cash or kind for the use of the temple and the monks may be placed at the "Kap
ruka" located inside the vihara. Please see the requisites list below.
Arrangements are being made for those devotees
who wish to donate robes ("cheevara") to obtain same from the vihara.
